I need Surgery

  Most Health Plans require elective surgical procedures to

  go through a pre-authorization process to ensure cost savings,

  safety and quality.

Most health insurance plans require pre-authorization for any elective surgery.  Please check your member identification card and look for the "pre-authorization" phone number.  Usually the physician/surgeon's office staff will need to call the pre-authorization phone number and provide information on the procedure being performed.  Once that is done, then you can move forward with scheduling your procedure. You can also go to your Administrators website for additional information.
